4 cups urad dal
2 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp chironji
1 tsp raisins
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp water
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp salt
6 tsp tamarind chutney
6 tsp mint chutney
Soak the washed urad dal in water for 7-8 hours.
Drain the lentils and grind them.
Add salt, red chili powder, chironji, raisins and asafoetida.
Toss it with your hand.
Now make small balls with your hand.
Fry them till they turn golden brown.
Take yogurt in a bowl and whisk it well, then add salt and black salt to it.
Mix the whole ingredients well.
Soak the prepared bhals in water, now squeeze them out of the water and take them out in a plate.
Put curd on them. Sprinkle black salt, cumin powder and red chili.
Then add tamarind and mint sauce.
Garnish with boondi and pomegranate.
