You want to spoil yourself with a delicious side dish even during a low-carb diet? No problem: Treat yourself to this delicious cauliflower puree!
Here’s how it’s done:
- First prepare the cauliflower. Remove the florets from the cabbage and divide them into medium sized pieces. Place a large pot of salted water on top and cook the cauliflower for about ten to fifteen minutes. Drain and leave to drain well.
- Mash the cauliflower evenly. Quickly stir in the cream cheese at room temperature, also the butter. Once the ingredients are well mixed, season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg – and serve!
Tip: You want to add some spice to your court? Then why don’t you mix a few fresh herbs into the puree. It’s worth it!
