It’s probably the most intense celebrity transformation of the last few months: When singer Adele appeared at a party a few days ago as part of the Oscar ceremony, she showed herself to be as slim and slender as you have never seen her before. But: How on earth did she manage that? Allegedly, so-called Sirtfood is the reason. More about the diet.

Adele has lost a lot of weight! Recently, the singer, who has been largely withdrawn from public life since 2017, has been the focus of attention again and again. Sirtfood diet: Slim, healthy, young and fit thanks to sirtuins?


The name “Sirtfood” is derived from “Sirtuin”. This is a protein which is contained in very specific plants. It is something like the plant’s immune system – and it is said to have effects on the human body:




  • Slim: No attacks of ravenous appetite, the metabolism is accelerated
  • Healthy: The immune system is strengthened
  • Young: The cell metabolism is reduced to a low flame, which slows down the aging process
  • Fit: Similar to strength training, sirtuins stress muscles. The repair mechanism kicks in, muscle mass is created. This in turn increases energy consumption, which further promotes weight reduction


The principle was developed by the Brits Aidan Goggings and Glen Matten, who worked out the advantages of the Sirtuine and created a concept from it. But what exactly do you have to do to make use of these advantages?



Sirtfood diet: How it works


Sirtuins are found in certain plant-based foods – and they should be in abundance on your menu. If you simply pay attention to them, you can easily lose a few pounds or at least comfortably maintain your weight. But if you want to lose larger amounts, you should be prepared to follow a more strict Diet plan …undergoing. It takes a little more willpower.


The diet is divided into three phases:


  1. During the first three days – the so-called Detoxification phase – shakes are mainly consumed from sirtuin-rich foods.
  2. Solid food is in the Conversion phase (day 4 to 7) is allowed, but especially in this first week you should not consume more than 1000 calories daily.
  3. From the following one-week Establishment phase 1500 calories per day are allowed – mainly in the form of sirtfood. A woman’s calorie requirement averages 2000 calories per day, so gritting your teeth is still the order of the day.

Do you remember Pippa Middleton’s wedding in 2017? The sister of Duchess Catherin delighted the whole world with her astral body in her enchanting bridal gown. Pippa looked simply gorgeous, and it was impossible to ignore that the British woman had lost weight properly. According to “E! Online”, Pippa had undergone a strict sports programme and also changed her diet – according to the principles of the Sirtfood diet.


Conclusion: Is Sirtfood the long-awaited dietary revolution?


In this way, people willing to diet should be able to lose up to three kilos per week. Even more: Those who additionally do sport can achieve even greater success. But is this really due to the sirtuins? Anyone who reduces his daily calorie intake so drastically, eats healthy food and possibly even exercises on top of it, will lose weight anyway – right?


The difference: this diet at least allows the consumption of chocolate and red wine, even if only in small amounts. This fact makes it a little easier to deal with the tight weight loss plan…
