Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 16 oz. Canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 Teaspoon cloves 
  • 1 12 oz. Can of evaporated milk
  • 1 9’ inch Unbaked pie crust
  • *Whip cream (optional)

Instructions

Step 1

  • Combine filling ingredients in order given. Then pour into crust. Bake in a preheated 425’ oven for 15 minutes

Step 2

  • Reduce heat to 350’ F. for an additional 40 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserts and comes out clean. Cool and serve with whip cream.

Step 3

  • A flavorful addition is to add 1/4 or more of your favorite maple syrup or even a dark Karo syrup
