Mom's Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon flour
  • 3 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 Cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 Cup pecan halves

Instructions

Step 1

  • Mix together dry ingredients. Combine with syrup and eggs and beat. Add vanilla and butter

Step 2

  •  Pour into an unbaked 9” inch pie shell and cover with pecans. Bake 300’ F. for 1 hour or until filling is set

Step 3

  •  Once filling is firm turn oven temperature up till crust is a golden brown. Be sure to watch carefully or it may burn.
