Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1 16 oz. Canned pumpkin
- 3/4 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 Teaspoon cloves
- 1 12 oz. Can of evaporated milk
- 1 9’ inch Unbaked pie crust
- *Whip cream (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
- Combine filling ingredients in order given. Then pour into crust. Bake in a preheated 425’ oven for 15 minutes
Step 2
- Reduce heat to 350’ F. for an additional 40 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserts and comes out clean. Cool and serve with whip cream.
Step 3
- A flavorful addition is to add 1/4 or more of your favorite maple syrup or even a dark Karo syrup
