Mom's Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon flour
- 3 Eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 Cup dark corn syrup
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon melted butter
- 1 Cup pecan halves
Instructions
Step 1
- Mix together dry ingredients. Combine with syrup and eggs and beat. Add vanilla and butter
Step 2
- Pour into an unbaked 9” inch pie shell and cover with pecans. Bake 300’ F. for 1 hour or until filling is set
Step 3
- Once filling is firm turn oven temperature up till crust is a golden brown. Be sure to watch carefully or it may burn.
