Mom's Date Nut Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 Package dates
- Add 1 Teaspoon soda
- 1 Cup boiling water
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Cup flour
- 1 Cup nuts
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt (added by Mom)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased pan. Bake 35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve with whipped cream or brandy sauce.
- Tip: Serve with the brandy sauce, it is by far the best! Serve warm.
