Ingredients for making Shahi Paneer
-Taja cheese 200 grams
– 2 tomatoes
– 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
– 2-3 cloves
Black pepper – 4-5
– 2 teaspoon curd
– 4-5 green chillies
– 1 piece ginger
– 1 clove garlic
– 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
– half teaspoon red chili powder
– half teaspoon garam masala
Salt as per taste
– 2 teaspoons butter
-2 tablespoons Ghee (for frying)
– Cashew
– Raisins and Cream for Garnishing
– chopped coriander

Method of preparation of Shahi Paneer

To make shahi paneer, first cut it into long square pieces of paneer and fry it in ghee and put it in water. After that, make a paste of tomatoes, poppy seeds, green chillies and ginger-garlic except for the curd and butter. Now heat the ghee, prepare a paste by adding mustard seeds, cloves and black pepper and fry it till it leaves the paste. When the gravy fry well, add all the remaining spices and mix well. Now add yogurt, butter and boil it a couple of times. Now garnish with cashews, raisins and cream and serve with hot-hot Shahi Paneer Roti or Parathe.
