We all like dhaba spinach paneer, but often when we make it at home, it does not have a smokey flavor like dhaba. In such a situation, we are telling you the desi flavor of spinach cheese.

Spinach – 1 bunch
Paneer – 150 grams
Finely chopped onion – 2
Chopped finely – 2
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
Finely chopped garlic – 4 buds
Coriander Powder – 11/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Butter + Oil – As required
Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste

Method
Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly. Put water to boil in a pot and add a pinch of salt and baking soda to it. When the water starts boiling, put spinach leaves in it for 20 seconds and immediately remove it and put it in cold water. Make puree of spinach leaves. Heat the butter and oil mixture in the pan and fry the onions till they turn golden. Now add garlic to the pan. Add red chili powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Slightly slice the pan into one side and sprinkle some water over the pan. By doing this, the pan will ignite for a few seconds and your dish will get a dhaba style smokey flavor.

Pour the paneer pieces into the pan and mix gently. Cook 2-3 minutes. Now put the spinach puree in the pan and turn off the gas after it comes to a boil. Do not boil the gravy too much or its natural green color will disappear. Add lemon juice and mix. Heat ghee in another pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds start cooking, add green chillies to the pan and immediately put them in the prepared spinach cheese. Serve with naan, parantha or cumin rice.
